I bring my car to the dealer because most of the time you can and sure that you’re getting quality service and may not always be the cheapest as compared to other mechanic places but who can you trust if you can’t trust your dealer now I know there was one time I brought my car at Honda On Grand Avenue in Chicago and I took it there and they tried to sell me some service I didn’t need so I stopped going there and I came back to you guys because that’s where I bought my original 2005 Honda pilot when I was married but there was also one time That you guys missed diagnosed and said I needed a new radiator when I didn’t and I called you out on it and you admitted you were wrong but you gave me a couple hundred dollars worth of free work so I appreciate that here’s the deal I don’t mind spending a few extra dollars I just want the job done right and I don’t want to have to be bringing it back tires are expensive the labor is expensive and quite frankly I think you guys make good money on that just be honest and you’ll have your customers coming back

I realize their computers were down that day, but I had an appointment for 9:00 AM. I waited over 2 hours for an oil change, while watching the waiting room clear out TWICE. People who came after me left before me. After an hour and a half, I went and asked somebody what was going on. He said my car was up on the lift, coming down soon, and somebody would be coming to talk to me in about 10 minutes. A half hour later, I went out again and asked if something was wrong with my car. He said "Oh, we were just coming to get you, and your car is waiting outside." I still have no written record of what was actually DONE to my car, or if they actually checked the battery and brakes as I asked them too. This really put a sour taste in my mouth as far as ever getting service from McGrath Honda again. I understand about their computers being down...that happens. But the people with appointments STILL should have been put first over people who just drove in. I had other appointments to keep that day that I missed. I would still like a record of what was done to my car that day, please. Donna Bania

I am very satisfied with the service given by McGrath, St. Charles and Cj Nemec. Cj Nemec was extremely professional. He was aware of my time constraint and worked hard to get my car serviced as soon as possible. He was even able to find me a coupon to reduce my service cost.

Car was dropped off at 8am for appointment, it was scheduled for 3 recalls repairs two air bags for 1.5 hours, and one engine repair for 5. We returned to pick up the car at 3:30 before close. We were told the engine repair parts were not in stock and the repair could not be performed and the vehicle was not ready for pick up and would be an additional 30 minutes. There was no communication about the missing parts before hand despite multiple texts saying we will be updating you with the repairs progress. Overall not a great experience and we still need to have one recall done.

I believe the road noise I am hearing is noticeable and is apparent especially if you drive the same vehicle that is brand new. I am aware that the noise is not super loud st the same time the cabin noise is louder than my 2017 Civic. I still believe something is not right with the vehicle The only reason I am not bringing it back is because it’s a lease. Eventually the car will be given back.

I waited over 2 and a half hours for my airbags to be replaced yesterday. After 2 hours I went out to the service area and asked what was up. The service rep went back to see. As I stood there I noticed a car that looked like mine by the fence. He came back and said they were just finishing my car. It was an other 1/2 hour later and then he tell me he will ask the cashier about what's up. He finds out my car is ready. When I go out to get it I find out that was my car that was by the fence 45 min. earlier. When I get home I have a call saying my car is ready. I waited in your customer service area an extra hour and a half because no one had the common sense to walk in and tell me my car was ready. I told them when I made the app. and when I walked in I would wait. The service guys walked by me more than 10 time but the could not tell me my car was ready?
