I will no longer be taking my 2017 Honda H-RV to the Elgin Honda to be serviced. I purchased my vehicle here last year brand new and have only ever brought it back to this Honda dealship for servicing for the last year. I went there in May for an oil change and routine maintenance. I was charged and then a month later received a phone call FROM THEIR HONDA SERVICE CENTER that my free oil change from purchasing my car with them would expire in July. I relayed to them that I had just paid in May and was told we could replace that free oil change the next time I came back. I was in today and they did not honor that. I will no longer be bringing my Honda to this service center nor was going to buy a new cabin filter from them today after the lack of respect or trust from this facility.. Thank you.

I believe you have a very busy location. You also have a lot of staff. When I went to pick up my vehicle from the parking garage, I couldn't get out because of how the cars were. I didn't want to hit someone's car. There were all of the light green shirt employees just hanging around. Then there were a few technicians. The manager noticed no one was helping me and came out and moved my car for me. I don't understand how no one could help me or why they put my car in such a tight spot. Or why one of the cars was put in the middle of the garage like that. Then, the manager also noticed how I still had my low air light on in my dashboard. I had a flat tire and had a new one put in. But the no one drove it around to make sure the light went out before giving it back to me. Overall, I think your manager is great! The young kids in bright green, they are young but your manager will get them squared away very soon I feel. Your staff behind the counter (at check in) are great. They are always so busy. I have only ever gone to McGrath for my oil changes (I have never needed major work) but the tire replacement was the same as other places quoted me as well. Thank you to the manager who is very hands on and makes sure that everything is moving like it should. The guy behind the desk was so friendly and we could carry a conversation. He genuinely cared that I had popped the tire the night before. He was always smiling and it made me feel welcomed. So thank you to everyone. I drove back to Champaign to finish my move and I am safe because of you all. You guys rock!

I appreciate Don’s service however I am getting very frustrated with the amount of ‘surprise’ repairs this car has needed in the past 2-3 years. This is my second Honda; the first was a ‘96 accord that went forever with minimal problems. My ‘10 Crosstour that I bought brand new is not holding up to “Honda” quality.....not sure why but extremely frustrated with the amount of work it has needed.
