Well, Jason was a fun person to talk to and we had a good conversation. However…I did not feel that Jason was looking out for my best interests. Instead, I think he was looking to sell as many services as he could even if I didn’t need those services at this particular time.
I also felt there could’ve been a better process involved for the loaner car. There should’ve been no reason for me to wait for a loaner car longer than five minutes. My loaner car was in the request record and therefore when I entered the building, the loaner car should’ve been ready for me. You could’ve even asked for my insurance card and drivers license electronically before I showed up. Instead, I had to wait a good 20 to 30 minutes to get a loaner car.

Everything was great but I had hoped the car wash would be open. It seems like a small thing but I live 30 mins away and getting a free car wash is one of the reasons I come back for servicing all the way to Elgin and not to the many Honda dealerships near me.

I still cannot believe that there is no front license plate bracket for the 2022 Rogue SPORT SL!!! It simply boggles my mind that this is the ONLY Nissan model that doesn’t have a front license plate bracket. Such a simple thing that cannot be done. Even had one service guy at McGrath Honda of Elgin who told me that Illinois no requires a license plate on the front of a vehicle. Even when I showed him the website from the Illinois Secretary of State that states Illinois requires a front & back plate & the fine is $50 to $200 if you don’t have them. I still think that he doesn’t believe it. INCREDIBLE!!!
