My car went in for scheduled work, Thursday Feb 23. We were told it would be a couple days. We okayed the work later that day via a phone call to us. Then we heard nothing. Our couple days came and went and my husband called on Saturday asking the status of our car and the person said they’d look into it and call us back. Nothing. He called again and spoke to Jim who couldn’t find our car and asked if we had the wrong dealership..maybe St. Charles? We know where we took our car. He said someone would call us back. No call. We drove to the dealership later that day. They found the car…it wasn’t ready. We got a call on Monday saying they were waiting for a part. Then we got a call another day that they ‘misdiagnosed’ the problem and that it would be longer. (We were told that the misdiagnosed issue would be at no cost to us.) Okay, we wanted our car fixed so we waited. ‘A couple days’ turned into two weeks until our car was ready. Yes, we had a rental for which we were grateful. Yes, we understand mistakes are made. However, the communication, especially in the beginning, was poor at best.
