I have tinting on the upper part of my windshield and the previous time I was there the tinting was scratched when taking the oil change sticker off with a razor blade. Why would anybody put the sticker on someones tinting is beyond me. I asked the Service representative, this time to put on the ticket that I did not want any stickers put on the windshield at all. She said that she was not able to put it in the work order but she would write it on the cardboard mirror hanger and that she would tell the mechanic that I didn't want any stickers on my windshield. The mechanic evidently failed to listen to her and put a sticker on the windshield tinting. I guess I will need to sit in the car while they work on it and make sure they don't put the sticker on the windshield Or you can pay for the replacement of the tint if it is scratched again.

Our vehicle was dropped off Thursday night. Initially the repairs were projected to be completed on Saturday. When I called that Saturday the individuals that took our call were unable to tell us who was working on our car. When we called back we were told that an employee called us and stated they were waiting for a part and the car wouldn’t be ready till Monday. THAT WAS NEVER COMMUNICATED TO US...in any form. Monday July 8 i had yet to receive an update of any kind in regard to my vehicle. I called at 10:15am and left a voicemail on Ms Aurora Jackson’s line...due to her unavailability I was forwarded
To Mr Matt Phillips and left him a Vmail as well. At 1:30 that day I had not received a response from anyone at Lindsay. So I ubered to the dealership only to find out that my car wasn’t finished. Nothing the car needed required it to be there for 3 days. Then I was told “ we thought you got a loaner from us on Saturday” how could a dealership assume a loaner was handed out? Poor service and even poorer communication. Then I’m told because I’m in law enforcement they would seek to “help me out” ... today I get my bill $2646.71
$1329 for labor? There’s no discount here or any grace that shows an understanding of the inconvenience caused simply by poor communication. On top of all that ...there are notes on the receipt indicating that our car key was lost. No one verbally articulated that to me when I was at the dealership for pick up. I imagine that’s why it took my car so long to be completed.
I’ve owned Honda and nissans and have had work done at dealerships. Never had a problem. The employees at Lindsay service department seem nice but overall this experience was enough for me not to return for service. I have 2 kids under 3, I work as an officer in DC. Life’s unpredictable enough ...I shouldn’t be wondering why a simple phone call can’t be made to respond to reasonable queries. I’d like the final cost to be adjusted and the fact that no service manager contacted me to be addressed ASAP.

For a simple oil change, with having appointment, it took 2 hours. 3:15 to 5:15. Jay C Tippett Jr was the associate that helped me. I remember him from when I first took my last car in service. He is rude or just does not like me. I do not feel welcomed by him. He did not give me an estimated time, and did not tell me the status of the car. I went to him about an hour after I waited, asking for a status on my vehicle. I did buy my car at this particular dealership. I was told I would have my first maintenance (oil) was free, but Jay told me I had gone over a little bit over the mileage. I was not even aware that there was a limit to the maintenance.
