This was such a horrible experience. My vehicle is a 2017 chevy tahoe that I purchashed from Lindsay Chevrolet. My check engine light came on and my car started jerking at 15k miles. I brought it in a little after 8am to be told that all 8 fuel injectors needed to be placed. The parts were not in so I told I would receive a rental vehicle. I explained that i needed a large vehicle because I have 3 children 5 and under that sit in carseats. Around 1030am I was first told they only had a chevy equinox which wasnt suitable to fit all car seats. The search began with rental companies and was given the option of paying $50 out of my pocket for a rental since GM only covers $38 a day. I declined having to pay for something I had no control of. I was asked if I had another large vehicle I responded no as I am a single parent. A little after noon a chevy traverse was returned so I was assigned that vehicle. The rental vehicle had an expired inspection so I had to wait additional time for that to be done. While walking back I slipped and fell in the bay where the cars are being worked on. While driving the change oil came on as well. I didnt leave the dealership until after 1230 so I spent over 4 hours at the dealership. After this experience I definitely dont want to ever return. You would think that a dealership full of vehicles they would have more than 1 courtesy SUV for people who have multiple car seats or a big family.
