Called for a quote on a lost key. Lindsay Chevrolet would not quote a price without the VIN. Called back next day when I had the VIN (wife’s car). Quote was $225. Scheduled appointment - need to ‘make sure remote start works’. After waiting 90+ minutes, Greg tells me new price is $439.
Spent 2.5 hours and $439 and change for a lost key. You’d think Lindsay Chevrolet would do better. Why was VIN needed for a quote? Key was well over $220 more than quote, after they had the VIN! Scam!! AVOID!!
