I brought my truck in to get the battery cable and water pump checked. I was told I’d have diagnostics by noon ish, but did not hear from anyone all day Tuesday. Weds I sent a few texts but did not get any information. I called the service department several times but no one answered and I got several voicemails.
When I finally got the main receptionist to get an advisor to get back to me, I was told that my truck needed an additional repair (front timing cover) and was given an outrageous quote, but told if I delayed it would cost an extra $1500.
Once I finally gave the go-ahead, I did not hear anything more Weds, Th, Friday. When I finally called to check in on Friday I was told that in 3 days they hadn’t done anything but would get started Monday, so I was without my vehicle We’d-Sun unnecessarily. I was very frustrated as I was given a car for a rental and I use my truck on a daily basis. The fix the following week seemed to take far longer then necessary and I wasn’t able to get my truck back until Friday despite being told that it would be done Weds. when I was finally about to pick up my truck 9 days later (which the repair place in town said it would do in a day) it was brought out filthy. For a $3500 bill, I expected to at least have a decent car wash and vacuum! That was poor customer service to be sure. Poor communication, poor efficiency, poor urgency, poor care for the condition of the truck when I got it back. Overall I was highly unsatisfied with my experience.

Chad Larson is the best service manager there is he takes great care of my truck that's why I go to Carlsbad if your car or truck needs to be serviced talk to Chad Larson he's a service managerhe will text you when your car is almost done with the service and he's always available when you have a question to ask him about your car he's the best service manager and if you want to buy a car or truck go see Kurt he's the best they treat you like family
