Trunk popped open on expressway heading north on US131 today on totally smooth highway. Had to pull over to close it again. Apparently not fixed yesterday as requested. Damned car still likes to break for no reason. Not happy. Honda needs to do something about that. How ‘bout putting blinders on the stupid sensor to focus only on highway directly ahead. Honda really blew it with this BS. Not much of a safety item when it endangers drivers’ control. Liked my 2004 Honda Civic a whole lot better than this car. I still have that one and might pull it out of mothballs. Never had a problem with THAT car over 265,000 miles.

To whom it may concern,
This may be longer than you want, but I need to share. I initially brought our Honda in as it was making strange sounds under the hood. When Cody called to let me know all the things needing fixed, he almost felt bad telling me about the $1200 cost. I struggled with it, but I agreed this all needed to be done as our vehicle is critical for our family right now. Fast forward to my having to call back because the noise was back, I wasn't angry, but definitely frustrated as I feared what additional costs this would be for my family. Cody was again kind, and told me to just bring it in and "we'll figure it out." I was a little nervous dropping it off as they could then definitely hear the noise themselves. When Cody called back later that day, he shared with me what the root of the problem was with the A/C system clutch, etc. I'm no mechanic, but I do know that an A/C system fix can be pretty expensive. As he went on about the fix, he finished by saying, you know, because we thought we got it last time, and we apparently failed, in the interest of good service, I spoke to the boss and this fix is on us. We want to ensure you're safe on the road and don't have to worry. I felt like crying. You see, what Cody doesn't know, is that my wife Angela was recently diagnosed with cancer. And while we have good medical insurance and certainly aren't poor, we have yet to see how all the doctor visits, chemo therapies, etc, etc, etc play out on our bank account. The entire time, Cody was nothing less than honest, genuine, caring, and one of the most professional individuals I've interacted with in a very long time. Thank you to Serra Honda for employing such a great person who truly wants the best for its customers. Thank you to the service team who helped get our 2010 Honda CR-V back to normal (the noise is gone!). And thank you, Cody, for restoring our faith in humanity. Especially during such a crazy time we're living through. Thank you for caring.
