Melinda was professional and very kind and polite. However, I was very disappointed with the fact that my car wasn't washed. Usually when I take my car in for a recall notice, the service department washes my car. Please be reminded of the fact that a recall notice is a mistake the manufacturer made when assembling the vehicle and was no fault on my part. However, I was inconvenienced by having to schedule service for the recall, take time out from my busy life to bring my car in and wait for two hours go the repair to be completed plus my gas was used to make the trip. At the very least, I should be partially compensated by getting my car washed. Dealerships have done so in the past. I always looked at it as a gesture to say, we are sorry for the inconvenience and expense we have caused you. While waiting for my car to be brought up which took an extra long time as your service staff had misplaced my keys, I got to talk to another Honda owner, a minority like myself and he told me about how he had been a part of a class action lawsuit filed against Honda for charging higher interest rates to people of color (Blacks and Mexicans). Honda was made to return money to these people because they were charged the higher interest rate even though they had good credit. I was extremely disappointed to hear this discrimination and like him, I don't feel I will ever purchase another Honda. I must add that the service department did have very good coffee and the fresh donuts were a very nice touch! Thank you.
