I came in to get some information about the noise that started coming out of my car. I dropped off my car early in the morning and sometime at noon I got a call that everything is good to
Go and that the noise was taken care of as well. After I got my car it the afternoon and started driving home the same noise was still there, and no I got some whining noise when I’m accelerating and deaccelarating. Taking my car here made more weird noises after just having to deal with one. I’m not happy with my visit here, but Rakan was very pleasant and professional.

Walking into the service center nobody seemed to want to help. Everyone was standing around talking to each other and it seemed a bother to have to help me.
Whitney was pleasant in face-to-face communications but was lacking in follow through. I was told it would be about 3 hours to replace a fuse, do the 37,500 mile inspection, and reprogram for the recall. I was fine with waiting as I had requested a loaner vehicle but none were available. After 4 hours of waiting however I needed to Uber so I could get my son from school.
I did receive a text that evening around 6pm saying the car was being worked on. (It was expected to be completed by 1pm of that day.) the next morning I messaged to ask if the car was ready as I still had heard nothing. No response. I was texted again saying the car was in good hands later that morning and still no response. Finally I called and Whitney said it would be ready in about an hour. I Ubered there and 2 1/2 hours later it was complete. About 2 hours after I got there I did go into the service center and had troubles finding someone who was willing to help. Finally someone helped and said it was being worked on but she would get with Whitney.
Throughout the entire process there was no follow up with me. It seemed that the texts were sent because they were probably required and there was no interest in really caring about the customer.
I am fine with things taking longer than expected. I just need to be informed so I can make arrangements and plan my day around it. I very well could have sat in
that lounge all day to be kicked out at closing.
The bad part is I was referred to this location by a neighbor as customer service is something I feel is important. He told me of someone awesome but she doesn’t work with Volts apparently. Coming here was a two-fold plan. In April my lease is up and I am considering a new Silverado to purchase as I miss my old truck. It is unlikely that I will be purchasing from this location. If you were to come to my business I would guarantee a better more respectful service.

After waiting 15 minutes or so,waiting to turn my car in for an oil change, I finally gave up waiting, having been ignored long enough, and went inside to the customer service desk where 3 employees continued their personal phone calls and ignored me. Finally I asked in a loud enough voice that Ms. Reinhardt could hear me, “how do I turn my car in for an oil change?” I’ve never been treated so poorly before at Jimmy Johnson Chevrolet. She was obviously irritated, but asked if I had an appointment. I explained I had been told yesterday on the telephone no appointment was needed. Then she asked if I could wait a few hours. Eventually she changed “a few hours” to 2 hours so I agreed to wait. My car was ready in about 40 minutes. Lloyd H
