I used the phone number found on the internet (****-****-xxxx) to make an appointment at the Marina Honda service garage. The man offered me a 7:30 am appointment. I was contacted the day before to confirm that I would be there. I confirmed that I will. I arrived at the Marina shop at 7:20 am and waited for the garage to opened. When 7:30 passed and the lights were still out I waited another 10 minutes before I called that same number again to find out what the problem was. My appointment was confirmed by the woman I spoke with. Long story short, the garage finally opened at 8am. It turns out that the number listed as the Marina site was actually a call center and not the Marina garage at all. I was scheduled at the Folsom garage. Honda needs to correct their internet info or at least tell the rep that answers the phone for appts to tell the caller which garage they are scheduled for. I had no idea that the number I called was a call center and not the Marina shop as explicitly listed online. Lawrence Wong explained to me what had happened and said it happens frequently. Honda needs to make the appropriate changes if it wants satisfied customers. This SNAFU left me with a bad impression of SF Honda. The ending, however, was good because I was happy with the service I received at the Marina shop.
