I had a 4 o’clock appointment for an oil change. I was there for 35 minutes before I was able to speak to anyone. At least 10 employees passed by my sister and I without one word. Not a greeting not a I’ll be right with you, not a sorry for the wait, nothing. I was told that my oil change would take approximately two hours And I did not get my car back by 7:00. I went back and asked approximately how much longer and was told they hadn’t even started my oil change. There were two cars ahead of me and my car may be ready by 8:30. They suggested that I leave it there so that they could do it the following day. That was an option because I didn’t have a way home and I had to work the next day. I was told that they would be unable to wash the exterior of my car, but the interior would be cleaned and the windows. They didn’t clean anything. No one was friendly. They didn’t put a sticker on my car telling me when to get the next oil change, And an oil change that should take maybe an hour at most ended up taking over four hours. The worst service I have ever received.

The only aspect I disliked was the tires were filled up to 35 psi. The placard on the front door states 32 psi.

The customer service I received from the SERVICE dept was unsatisfactory. I was very unhappy with how I was talked to, they are lacking good customer service and I am very unhappy that I purchased my car from Covina Kia. To top it off the complimentary car was was a person using an old dirty rag to just wipe y windows. When I asked him about a proper car wash he blew me off. I feel the sales dept is very different experience however The previous time I bought a Kia was from Kia Carson and was very happy with the service dept.

Manual Saldana was my advisor he was very nice and courteous but you could tell he was new. What really was troubling is that no one was helping him. I asked how long he worked there and he said 4 days. 4 DAYS and no one was shadowing him to show him the ropes? He had many questions as he checked me in, which would be normal for a new employee. A few times he asked other associates for help and my observation was that they couldn’t be bothered and were very condescending to him. You could tell because of this he was afraid to ask others for help. Covina Valley KIA needs to fix their training program. Also, I had ask to get a ride home while my service was getting done. They put my name on a list and told me to wait in the waiting area. 20-30 minutes pass and no one comes out to get me for a ride home. I walk up to the service desk and am told that I am next. Another 20-30 minutes pass, I again ask the service desk, they page someone and he walks up 5 minutes later to take me home. Was he there the entire time? Why the wait? Signs are posted everywhere about courtesy transportation but it wasn’t very well planned. It seems like there is a communication issue with this service. At least advise the customer how long the wait would be. It was pretty frustrating.

No communication. When I called to follow up I was talked down to in a very chauvinistic patronizing way. Had to have a man call to get answers and push the car yo be fixed. Took 21 days for car to be looked at and told what the problem was but that was only after a man called to complain directly to the GM. Was never offered rental cause repairs were under warranty. Again GM had to be called by a man to confirm loaner because when I requested a loaner I was ignored. Again no communication. Was told car would be done on 9/27 but no communication wasn't called until oct 5th stating car was done. And the message didn't come from my service rep. Some other man called stressing that I need to get loaner back. So based on the service I received Covina Kia will only provide quality service if you are a male and the repair isn't under warranty. My next car will not be a kia based on this service and I really do like my kia but I don't have 33 days to wait around and be treated so poorly because of my gender. Great look for the corporation.

Very pricey and you use to at least cleaned the car afterward. Over 300.00 to change oil top off fluids and a minor check up on a car with barely a little over 30,000 miles??? Can’t even imagine the price for tires or brakes… I’ll be shopping around before my next maintenance needs

Service was far superior to Glendale Kia where I bought my EV6. Covina Kia is close to home and I am grateful for a relatively good experience. I plan to bring my car here now when service is due. One minor irritation, my service advisor was not around when I arrived for my appointment. I had to wait 15-20 minutes while other customers were being helped and there seemed to be other service advisors available to assist me. My assigned service advisor finally showed, apparently with takeout. I believe I should have been checked in within a reasonable few minutes of my arrival, which incidentally was about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment (so, I actually waited close to half an hour without assistance). Not really sure why I needed to wait for a specific service advisor to check my car in, but like I said, minor inconvenience. My service advisor was very pleasant once he arrived. Also, car was promised at 5:30 pm and I did not get it back until after 7 pm. Interestingly, my service advisor was not there to check me out and had apparently left for the day.
