We chose your facility for the service of our 2018 escape when we moved to the area in fall 2019. Until our service today, we have been very satisfied with your services. November 8th our escape was involved in a traffic accident. Because of our satisfaction with prior service, we chose to go to your collision center. We were unable to get the car into the shop until February 13th (3 months). It took one month for us to get the car repaired. We had it for 10 days, then had to return it to the collision center due to a thumping in the wheel that was damaged. When we dropped the car off on Friday 3/24, there was no indication of any other issues. When we picked the car up at 5:00 pm, there was an engine service light on. We returned the car to the collision center Monday 3/27. They checked the codes and said it was a 02 sensor and we would need to go to the service center. We dropped the escape at the service center at 9:30 am on Tuesday 3/28 for evaluation. We did not hear anything from them, though we made 2 calls asking for an update. We received a text Wednesday morning, stating that the sensor malfunction was not related to the accident or any repair work and the charge for repair was approximately $875. While we realize that coincidences occur, the fact that the car apparently was fine prior to your service and developed a sensor issue during your service makes it hard for us to believe they are unrelated. Both your collision and service staff have been very helpful (other than not returning phone calls) and have treated us with respect. We just have a deep concern with your analysis of the cause of the sensor error. Again, we have been satisfied with your services prior to this incident, but will be reviewing our service choices in the future.
