I waited over two hours for an oil change that I had an appointment for. I also requested a multi point inspection and received no paperwork or comments about anything. I had an issue I wanted to bring up but didn't even get the chance. After 2 hours and 15 minutes I was told my car was waiting to be washed. I was there for so long that I had to leave so I took the car without it being washed. When I had a question to confirm the type of oil used, I was treated like I was giving them a hassle. And when I asked how much longer it would take, I wasn't given an accurate answer and was made to feel like I was hassling them, even though I quietly sat for 2 hours prior. Randy is a good guy so I don't really understand what the issue was. And Again, I received no information about the multi point inspection I requested, and no explanation for the over 2 hour wait for a scheduled oil change. Communicaton was very poor. I had to stay on top of it myself or otherwise I might have waited close to 3 hours.

I had asked for a ding in the door to be repaired as well. It did not happen. I was also told my vehicle would be ready in a couple days. I brought it in on Wednesday after I was told I could not bring it in on the Monday in which it was scheduled and it was not ready until the following Friday. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant but if you asking for completely satisfied, it missed the mark. I am certainly not blaming anybody. As someone that works in guest satisfaction, the people were great, the execution of service was not stellar. I did greatly appreciate the loaner vehicle while mine was being worked on. It kind of smoothed over any hiccups along the way.

I unfortunately had a very poor experience at Audi Morton Grove in the service department and will no longer bring my 2018 Q5 back to be serviced here. My husband is in the market for a new Audi, and given our recent experience with Morton Grove Audi service, I don’t think we will purchase a car from here again. My back left tire kept going flat, so I brought it in to be serviced on Monday, May 21. I don’t live close, so I spent 2 hours total driving, and then 2 hours waiting for my tire to get fixed. I told Norberto that my back breaks have been squeaking for about a month too and my top view camera hasn’t stayed in the lock position ever since I bought the car in January. It keeps reverting back to graphic mode. At the end of 2 hours, he said that there was a nail in my tire that was patched up, and his technician did not hear any squeaking and the camera was fine. I left, and the next day my low tire pressure light came on again. I was on my way to work and couldn’t drive it out to the dealer, so I asked Norberto for a loaner. I followed up with him that Friday, 3 days later, to ask about the status of my car. He said that his technician didn’t fill my tire up with air all the way when it was originally repaired, and that’s why my service light came on. This rookie mistake has wasted a lot of people’s time and money and has caused a lot of headache. To top it off, Norberto kept insisting that he did not hear my breaks squeaking and there was no problem with the top view camera mode staying in place. He referred to it as a “little issue.” This top view camera mode is what sold me on the Q5 prestige package, and why I paid much more than I would have for a lower package. Given the Audi name, I shouldn’t be experiencing squeaking breaks or a technical malfunction with the camera this early in the game. I insisted that the breaks be cleaned/lubed up, and he said he would do the front ones. I reminded him that it was my back breaks that were squeaking. After another phone call to Norberto checking on the status almost 2 weeks later, he told me that they had to take the whole module out and put it back in to do a reset on the software. I finally got my car back on Saturday, June 2, after reaching out to service yet again. The breaks are still squeaking, and the top down camera mode still does not stick. It keeps returning to graphic mode. I was without my car, my ipass, and garage opener for almost 2 weeks for nothing. If I didn’t call Norberto, I probably still would not have my car back. Each time I called, he said my car was fine. He and his team should have been proactive to find out what the problem was and fix it. Instead, my car just sat there, and the dealership has most likely lost a customer. Thanks for nothing, Norberto.
