Mohammed was entirely professional and showed a degree of empathy. My closed sunroof basically exploded Sunday outward on the 57S as I was travelling about 65 mph with no warning. There was little glass left in the frame. He shared my relief that I maintained control of my vehicle, didn’t crash, and that the sliding headliner was closed so I wasn’t sprayed with glass projectiles. Mohammad did not hesitate offering me a loaner vehicle. I truly appreciated that!! A day and a half later his Service Manager contacted me to tell me my 7year 115K mile warranty would not cover it. He explained since there was no recall in the sunroof, Mazda could not cover it as a defect. He was doing his job. It just took way too long to relay this to me, and then stated “ a rock broke it” as if he had god-like powers. He did not say “likely”, or “probably”. He said it with an arrogant condescending tone. I have been a lifelong Mazda customer. I purchased that vehicle there. I brought my vehicle in for service routinely and exclusively to Mazda of Orange because I trusted the brand and I tend to be loyal to a fault. I always give excellent reviews when deserved. Manager also insisted I go thru my comprehensive insurance with USAA. USAA was dragging their feet also and pushed the inspection out a week after telling me it most likely would not be covered, so i retrieved my vehicle from Mazda. Its Friday, I have an independent glass shop working on it with **** used after-market glass which I wanted to avoid but I just need this fixed so I can trade it in for a better on-Mazda brand. I will be glad when this is over, and I have a new vehicle.

Mo was awesome. Probably the best service that I received from Mazda of Orange. He was honest and helpful with the work that needed to be done to my car, after Mazda of Riverside tried to get extra money out of me by saying my spark plugs needed to be replaced AGAIN. I’m glad I can count on Mazda Orange for my service.
