Perfect experience. Everything was prepped and ready. New Q7 loaner was an amazing vehicle. My Q5 was serviced and delivered ahead of schedule. There were updates sent via text to me to keep me apprised of progress. It was a totally efficient and very pleasant experience. I made an appointment with Rene last week for an oil change for today 1/29/18 and had requested a loaner. I gave him all my information and I thought I was all set. I bring my car in today and was helped by Bill. It turns out there was no appointment in the system so my information had to be entered. Okay, inconvenient but let's move on. Second I was informed that they don't do loaner cars for oil changes even though when I spoke to Rene last week about getting one there seemed to be no problem. Again frustrating and inconvenient. But what really bothered me was Bill's apathetic attitude when I asked about the loaner. When I told him I was promised a loaner car by Rene that's when his tone changed. He callously remarked "Well I'm not Rene" or "Rene isn't here and I don't know what he told you". He summarily dismissed me and my request and concerns. I understand if it's the dealership's policy not to give loaners for oil changes but that should've been communicated to me at the onset. But what isn't acceptable is Bill's poor attitude, to me his demeanor was dismissive and insulting. In my opinion he was unprofessional and this is the first and last time I will ever come to DCH Audi Oxnard.
