Went in for a recall and when I received my vehicle it had another issue (which I believe was caused from the recall that was done). When I took it back to be looked at I was given another ‘stories’ that I was not satisfied with because the problem was not there before these people touched my car.
Car wouldn't start after getting groceries last Tuesday morning. Called Cathy Stump to let her know the issue. Had car towed. Cathy and techs worked together to resolve the issues. Back on the road that afternoon.
First time at the dealership. The customer service was impeccable. My car was fixed in a timely manner. I was impressed.
It was done in one day just like he said. Runs great again.
I brought in my Hyundai in for the follow issues as addressed in my initial service booking, “Noise when turning steering wheel and when AC is on and please check tires and tire pressure icon on dashboard.”
The noise came from the axels being damaged and were replaced, which was fine, no issue there. The issue I had was with the tires, I asked about checking the tires and the icon on my dashboard. They checked the tires, didn’t find a leak and found that there was a tire sensor that was bad. The issue is that it while they put it on the service receipt, no one ever discussed this with me or gave a plan of action to fix it. The tire pressure icon on my dashboard was still on when I arrived home from picking my car up from service even though it was one of the reasons I brought my vehicle in. I have addressed it with the employee that I was working with but honestly, I’m still confused as to why an issue with my vehicle wasn’t addressed with me, especially when it was an issue I specifically requested to have it checked out. His reasoning as to why it was not discussed with me was that it was toward the end of the service that another employee found the issue with the sensor and explained that the main issue (replacing the damaged axels) was addressed. Neither of those reasons seem like compelling reasons for an issue with my vehicle not to be discussed with me. When I take my vehicle to a place to be repaired, I expect it to be fully repaired, no matter how inconsequential the issue seems to the employee.
Excellent service. In and out in about 25 minutes. Best service to date.
