I had the car in earlier in the year to diagnose why the car kept stalling and not starting. I was informed all was fine only to experience intermittent start up issues and eventually the problem became worse not starting repeatedly. On this last visit I was charged $300 to diagnose a dead battery. Seems it could have been a quick test.

Working with Darlings service dept has been one of the most trying experiences to date. Your first attempt to fix the heated seat problem in my Edge was October 2022. After paying $1000+ I still had no heat in my seat. It has been back 4 times over the year… the most comical when they ordered the wrong seat but kept my car all day anyway. After a year they have finally fixed it…I hope. I had to pay again for the seat. I now have 1500$ in a heated seat repair. Also in 2022 they fixed a brake line for a recall and failed to reconnect the brake lines. I was driving down Stillwater Ave and put on my brakes and the brake pedal went to the floor. They repaired it the next day but would not pick it up. Thankfully I had AAA and had it towed there. So I’ve had nothing but really bad experiences at darling Ford. I’m in the market to buy a new SUV but it won’t be from Darlings. Hoping to never have to do business with you again.

The service was completed in the estimated time frame. Ryan made the extra effort to quote me prices for some plastic components that i cracked in a minor mishap. And they washed my truck! Thank you

Overall, he did a great job. Everyone I spoke to was very nice. I greatly appreciated the fact that you were able to fit us in for service in a timely manner. However, I am very unhappy with Ford but will address that with them directly.

1. Truck was in for service but didn’t even get serviced. 2. At some point during the valet process, the items in the rear seat area went flying from one side to the other and a small plastic drawer set I keep gear in was tipped over. I’ve had the same setup in my last two pick-ups and have NEVER had this happen… 3. When I called to ask / confirm that the truck hadn’t been serviced, the service writer simply passed me onto Scheduling. 4. Relative to above; why is it the end user’s responsibility to reach back out to scheduling when there’s a recall / update / etc.? I manage a heavy equipment dealership and if my team provided such poor service I would be embarrassed. Whited Ford is looking pretty good right now…
