I scheduled appointment a week out, checked-in with the service dept, left the dealership after dropping off my vehicle, then received a phone call to inform me that the part is not in stock and the work cannot be completed. Waste of time
Made an appointment for next day. Told me it’ll be in the next day. I took a day off from work and bring my van in to have my tire replace and found out the tire wasn’t there. I waited for like an hr and finally said it’ll be in again the next day. Should have text , email to let me know that the tire are not there yet. I wasted a day for nothing. I suggest that your employees need to communicate more to themselves and also to customers.
After leaving your service department, I called asking whomever answered my call, to have my service clarify a question but I never got a call back.
My questions was, why my passenger seat was adjusted and the headrest raised for an oil change and tire rotation? I understand if the drivers seat is adjusted, but why was my passenger seat and headrest changed?
On a separate note, the previous time I was at your service department, I asked my usual advisor (Luis) about extending my Toyota care which included a cabin filter change. He told me the amount and that Norm Reeves Toyota offers 10 to 15% discount on Mondays and Thursdays if I wanted to purchase the extended Toyota care on those days. Of course I would, but when I returned on a Thursday, John informed me that is not true. In. Additional I could no longer get the extended Toyota care, which would include the cabin filter change because I had just passed 30,000 miles. I had 31,000 at the time because I had just returned from a road trip. could only get some Toyota service which only includes oil changes and tire rotation. Now I’m being hounded with texts to change my cabin filter and engine filter.
All I know is I got a lot of negative responses from John and I got a lot of positives from Luis. I would have felt better if Luis took care of me regardless of the responses. On future service visits, I only want to be serviced by Luis.
Can anything be done about my extended Toyota Care since I wasn’t informed about the 30,000 mile limit or I would have purchased it ahead of time. Also, what’s the real deal with the 10-15% off service

My service agent was very helpful. My only concern was that, while the estimate for service was about three hours, it took more than twice as long to complete the service.

Richard was good natured and put a smile on my face. He was able to answer all my questions in a way that I was able to understand it. I am sometimes hard of hearing but he really took his time to communicate. I certainly appreciated that. thank you Richard and thank you, Toyota.
As a customer here for years, I was floored by the cost of the repair after speaking to others in the industry today. We know dealerships are known to take advantage and costs are higher than outside mechanics but I have been a loyal customer here for years and have always felt taken care of. I have never had someone quote me a price and then when I go to check out, it is way higher than quoted.
I would like to trust my dealership.
