Jose has twice handled my service order with COMPLETE professionalism. It is impossible to overstate my praise for him, the service techs who performed the work, Hansel management and the facility. Jose represented Hansel, Hansel management and staff to the highest professional degree possible. Twice now, I have been treated with the pleasure of doing business with Hansel. Technician dumped contents of cabin air filter in passenger seat. Accidents happen, I get it, I was an auto tech for a decade; but come on, that’s gross. 10 seconds with a shop vac would have fixed it. It’s fine, I’ve already detailed the car myself, not a huge deal, just something that should be taken as a learning experience/constructive feedback for the technician(s) to be more aware about what mess they leave behind in a customer’s car.

I dropped my Tacoma off last week on Wednesday for a multi point inspection only to find that my free services expired upon drop off. Not the end of the world. It was about a $57 fee. However, when the service was completed the service advisor informed me that the air filter “couldn’t be checked” due to the air filter box being “blocked” by my AM compressor. The last couple times I’ve brought my Tacoma for an inspection not once was that issue brought up. So I find it hard to believe that this is an actual issue. That or last couple times the air filter hasn’t been checked at all and wasn’t brought to my attention. Either way, that’s a bit of disappointment. I have no problem accessing the air filter box. I shouldn’t have to pay the full amount of a service if all the work isn’t going to be completed.

My tires were an unsafe level of tread and the tech and service writer let me go after the oil change. The writer didn’t ask about my driving habits- if he had he would have known that I am a super commuter and known that I needed tires. I was expecting to pay for tires today, but ended up going by elsewhere after the oil change.
