I asked if they changed air filter i was told that it wasn’t do till next service. I looked it was filthy I had to replace my self out of pocket. So much for my free service that I paid for

Have had my truck serviced many times at Jim Burke Ford.Truck was dropped off this morning for an oil change with service writer Yesenia. It was explained to her at drop off…that a special oil filter would be needed due to modification (this has never been an issue before.Received a call at 4pm and was told my truck could not be serviced because of the modification. I inquired why now is this an issue…it soon became clear it had not been ordered or taken into consideration until the end of the day! Can hardly believe with all the 6.0 ford trucks in Bakersfield that she has not come across a external oil cooler and filter.

Andres was a true professional and his service ability to explain the repairs to me in simple terms put my trust in his word.

I tried to answer this earlier but it wouldn’t load. Glad it came again and I have a second chance to answer. The service department gave outstanding service to me. A warning light that came on for airbags. I thought this was kind of serious as I have seen first hand how well airbags protect life. It’s one of the reasons we updated our vehicle. The service department thought so too and got me right in, even though these are hard times fir the auto industry. Gabrial called and said they located the people and would have my new Ford Ranger Tremor done Friday. I picked my truck up from Gabrial just after lunch Friday and could not be happier with the service I received from Gabrial and the service department at Jom Burke Ford.
Burke Ford was unable to find a record of replacing a part on my 2018 Escape that was in fact special ordered and installed by Burke Ford. Their service records only go back to April of 2019. They should be able to use my name as a starting point as I have had three Ford Escapes since 2011. You would think that wouldn't be so hard. Then they tried to blame the damage on JiffyLube when the problem obviously exists within the Ford process of manufacturing. Also the original part was replaced with a far inferior part. I am still researching as Jim Burke wants me to PROVE that I bought the part when it should be part of the service record regardless of which Ford dealership where the part was purchased and installed.
Andres was helpful and delivered my car before the promised time.
