Not enough Techs on staff .. this has been on going to get in(This kind of service has been going on since covid. I believe you know the problem…The turn over at the service is horrible for the client .
yesterday, we Identified the issue with my Outback ( I took it in for the same issue in the past but it was not identified at the time)
if they order parts the service dept can’t take me til some time in April to fix it.. not even for wheel bearings…in the meani i’m rd time my 10 year warrenty expired in Oct 2024. Front axil issue( said not bad yet) and rear wheel bearings
The personnel there are nice enough. but it’s not the customer service we are used to.
I had been thinking about trading my car in, but if i can’t get it serviced what’s the use..it is 10 years old, 62,000 has only been serviced by Mazda until last Sept I had to go somewhere else for safety check and oil change because Mazda service couldn’t take me because I was told they are under staffed.
They come right out and tell you so. I believe they are embarrassed by their own lack at the service department . Your problem has now become my problem .. I need to get my car fixed for safety reasons.
Service was done quickly and the staff were courteous and professional.
I recommend big island motors for vehicle servicing.

Went to have a service,oil change and regular service please s airbag indicator on 5 hours later service was done and a part for the airbag is ordered a can’t be done till February 11th Very disappointed

Everyone was very courteous and the work performed was accomplished well. Jamie was fantastic!! A couple suggestions: please don’t promise completion by a certain time when staffing will inevitably force a delay of a few hours. I had planned a wait of 3 hours, was told 2.5, but it took nearly 6. The job was routine (oil change and tire rotation) but it took almost the whole day. Understandable, but please let the customer know ahead of time. Also, suggest using paper or something similar to safeguard interior floors from dirt and grime. Thank you.

You make a reservation time, keep it, and wait hours for actual service. The work was fine, but every time I come to I wait for hours.
It was over a 5 hr wait for diagnostic of my door latch not working and a recall installation of the ABS system. They did keep me informed and updated and I was prepared with projects to work on.
Service manager Aura handled the job professionally, was very helpful and clearly makes customer service a priority. Very much appreciated.
Car was not fixed started acting up again today

WellI was upset but I don't think it was your office's problem. I returned and they said my car needed retinting with the new revulation of photographing
so they hadn't continued the inspection so I wouldnt have to pay for it. But I've been sick and really needed to get the inspection done. It was a postponed from the week before so I was already stressed. When I asked why they hadn't told me two hours earlier they said thr electricity had been down. Now I am even farther behind than when I went but not their fault.
Eddie, our mechanic, did an excellent job on our vehicle. It showed care on his part and a professional approach to work. Drove home to the South end of the Big Island with no problems. When in direct communication with the ladies in the service department, they all displayed an attentive manner and courteous service. Thx to Aura also for all her help and spot on care for our Palisade. I look forward to bringing our Hyundai back to Hyundai in Kona for service.
