A Subaru recall took quite a bit longer than expected from the letter I received from Subaru but shop time is likely under estimated by Subaru. Plus I believe due to the Covid-19 situation the technicians were likely following different procedures. Otherwise the service personnel were helpful. I saw my car was off the rack and just sitting so I asked one of the technicians walking out of the garage about my vehicle and he said, “That car is not assigned to me” and walked off. He had been talking to a guy in the garage who ended up be the one that was working on my car. I guess technicians are not paid to take initiative and are task oriented (paid by the hour). But I have experienced very helpful technicians at other dealerships-no big thing and I understand.

I was satisfied with the service, but I discovered upon looking at my closeout paperwork that I’m overdue for an oil change. I am sorry that you guys didn’t perform the oil change as part of the service so that it would be up-to-date. I would have been happy to pay for the service had I known that it was needed. I will now have to schedule an oil change at some point in the future. Other than that, everything was fine.
