Happy,Happy!!!! Customer ????????
All of your personnel were very courteous and friendly. Great customer service from the time we drove up.
Upon going through the multi-point inspection report, I noticed that my tires were given a "green" rating and the report stated about 8mm of tread. This raised a flag with me as I remembered that my tires were given a "yellow" rating at my previous appointment several months ago. When I mentioned this, the service representative (Keoni, who is super awesome at his job) joked that my tired must have grown some tread (I did find this funny). Keoni was gracious enough to go out with me to my vehicle to double-check the tread measurements (he insisted), and upon re-inspection, we found that the tires were in fact at about 4mm of tread left, and they should have been given the same "yellow" rating I received at the last appointment.
Now, to be crystal clear, I have absolutely no issues with Keoni. My concern is with the mechanics. Are they doing their jobs correctly and thoroughly? As a customer, I am putting my full faith and trust in your mechanics as the experts, and something like this shouldn't slide. There have been other occasions where I had suspicions that some work that I was charged for and was told was done might not have been done at all (i.e. replacing of the cabin air filter); there is no way for me to check or know if that was done and done correctly (I am not the expert).
It's these little things that can make or break trust between customer and service provider, and I admit that I am - and have been - gradually losing trust in the maintenance team at Kama'aina Nissan, and am considering taking my business elsewhere. Granted, this may have been a simple, human error, but it is easy to assume that the mechanic didn't even bother taking the measurements and just wrote down some numbers on the sheet; how do I know the other points on the inspection weren't just glanced over?
I am taking this time to complete this feedback survey in the hopes that an opportunity is given to regain my trust in this business. If the same situations continue, I'll be forced to find someone else to work on my vehicle. Mahalo!
125$ for an oil change is ridiculous
and another 125$ for brake fluid drain and refill;
I checked with orchid ford and they can do same for about 70&
