It was a job well done and on time
My main reason for the visit was an oil change. That was handled well even though I did not have an appointment. One other thing I asked to have done was to re attach the bottom engine cover. I had left the dealership and decided to check the cover and it was not attached. I took car back and they did attach it. Then when I got home, I relooked at the bottom cover and it was hanging lower than it was before; now there are two bolts missing. This is a poor design by Ford. The cover screws easily strip out the plastic or rubber nuts they go into. I fixed the cover with some screws and washers that I had. So I appreciated the effort by the service group, but if the cover has to be removed every time the oil is changed then the attachment of it needs to be better than this.
Cost of inspection was not clear. Price was higher than I dreamed possible but felt trapped without throwing away the brake diagnostic charge. I wasn’t offered the diagnostic report. I should have ask for the old parts so I could have confirmed the condition of the brake system. Sorry a ten year relationship had to end on such a sour note.
