Let me tell a little about us. We have driven Buick’s for 30 years. But now we are getting old we never leave the Orlando Metro area. My wife is confined to a wheelchair to get around so after looking around for a less expensive car that the wheelchair would fit in the trunk we settled on the Toyota Camary. We also drove past an other Toyota dealership to get your place because we were impressed by the TV add you were running at time (July 2018).
After buying the car and driving home (20 miles) I was impressed with the car.
1. The steering was so perfect that it took practically no adjustment to travel at highway speeds.
2. There was no vibration at any speed. It was a pleasure to drive.
3. I was impressed and enjoyed driving the car.
The maintenance history has been:
The first 4 scheduled services I reported:
1. The low tire light was on and I have been adding air one tire every 3 weeks. ( maybe it has a leak. They just added air)
2. The windshield washers don’t work (But hay it rains everyday who needs it)
I stopped complaining.
THEN CAME YESTERDAY (July 14, 2021)
I came in for an oil and filter change and fix the leaky tire.
I was told I needed
1. A new tire as it was defective and could not be fixed. Maybe they could have figured that out sometime ago.
2. Air and Cabin filters. After only 5000 miles??
3. Alignment. After only 17,000 miles??
4. All wheel balance. Again after only 17,000 miles and no complaints??
After a very rapid explanation of the work to be done and nothing about the reliability of Toyota’s I agreed
Boy was that a mistake
Driving home I found:
1. The steering wheel has resistance to move out of strait ahead in either direction
2. What was very good steering is now so bad it is almost impossible at highway speed to keep the car between the white lines.
3. The wheel balance is so bad that it shakes the whole car.
4. What was a pleasure car is now a piece of junk.
I will be bringing it back to redo the alignment by someone more knowledgeable
Rebalance all of the tires again by someone more knowledgeable.
The rest of the work that was done tho maybe not necessarily I can live with.
Let’s hope that the results of the redo will be satisfactory

The mechanic left the rear seat completely off, I had to clip it back into place. I also noticed that my tint was scratched and it wasn’t before.
