I was charge $1,000 for a knock sensor replacement. The part was $94 with $900 in labor. I called a mechanic friend of mine and another local mechanic and both of them told me it’s a $200-300 labor job and being charged $900 in labor is price gouging. It looks like you are significantly overcharging people for work.
