We are completely dissatisfied with all service and communication with KIA of Abilene. We had them order a part a few months ago, yeah it's really been that long. We haven't heard anything from them. Not only have they not called us, they can't even be depended on to call us back when we have left a message. I certainly hope that when our communication with the corporate office is received something happens.
Service and facilities were excellent
As far as Michael Gilliand is concerned he was great. He called and kept us updated during the diagnosis of the problem. And kept us informed once they found out they needed to order a part and they got it working temporarily until they could get the part in. He then said he would have us bring it back in once the part arrives to get it repaired.
Now rewind to the beginning and this Next section is where I had my only complaint , we were told after taking our car in due to the AC not working that their was not a loaner car to be offered and that they used Enterprise rentals for stuff like they. However they then stated that enterprise was booked a month out. This was especially disturbing considering it was 108 degrees outside and we had our 1 month old infant, and 3 year old child in the car and we live 25 min outside of town, which in my mind is unacceptable customer service. So went to speak with the manager of the dealership and he asked how we were doing and I said not to good our AC went out. His direct response was” aww man, that ****” !!
I then responded yeah it does considering we have a baby and young child in the car. At that point he then offered to have a service member give us a ride home. (Which by the way the service guy that gave us a ride was super friendly)
I guess my point is if after buying a brand new car from this lot and it now has only 25,000 miles on it that this was the kind of response I got. I will say this in closing of this review survey. If we would of just got in and drove away upon hearing the intial response and my infant would of had a heat stroke or any other heat related illness , it would have gotten real ugly real quick with Attorneys involved!! So in closing. After pulling some teeth to make things happen everything worked out, but it should of been handled differently. Thanks for taking the time to hear my concerns.
