Fiat Chrysler CEO Steps Down Due To Health Concerns

Company Scrambles to Replace Sergio Marchionne
In an already uncertain financial climate, Fiat Chrysler had the difficult task of finding a suitable replacement for Marchionne, who is credited with bringing the company back from the brink of collapse after Chrysler's 2009 bankruptcy. The difficult decisions ahead lie with the new CEO, Mike Manley. He has proven his mettle in the realm of profitability, giving hope that Manley will be able to navigate through potentially difficult times.
Though there has been no official announcement from Fiat Chrysler regarding Marchionne's health, it is speculated that he has fallen gravely ill after complications from shoulder surgery earlier this year. He had led the company for 14 years, some of which were the most difficult in their history.
Manley is stepping into the role of a much respected and admired man who often quoted contemporary musicians along with ancient philosophers.
He was much loved by his peers and competitors alike.
Hopefully Mr. Manley can achieve the same levels of respect through cunning and acumen. He was unavailable at the time of writing, but as with the rest of us we can be assured that he wishes the best for his predecessor.
