Hong was nice and professional. But, getting to Honda of Oakland and having to wait and so forth - cost me money and time. It was a Honda problem. I pay a lot - they should offer a free something ... Or, reduce a payment - when the factory recall is caused by them.

Max provided excellent service. Usually when I come to the Honda shop, I just expect to be upsold for everything but Max was real and authentic. He let us know the work that would be done and had an overall really positive demeanor. When I come back for anything to Honda, I’d love for Max to be our rep again

Victor Martinez was amazing from the start. I am a customer of Honda of Oakland for my service needs but this was for a GEICO insurance claim. Victor kept me informed of each part of the repair process. He made the entire process not stressful at all. He even went above and beyond and followed me to the enterprise rental car place so I could return my GEICO rental and took me back to Honda to my fully repaired vehicle. He didn’t know I was kinda of stressed with having my autistic child walk back to Honda after returning my rental and he really helped with that and I am very appreciative of it. Thank you again Victor for being an amazing person!
Every time I come they try to sell me something instead of doing what I came in for. He tried to sell me on parts I had just got replaced. I will never deal with Honda of Oakland again.

I thought that one of the nice things about taking my car into the dealership, even though it cost me more than at other shops for basic maintenance, would be that you guys would give me a little special treatment like washing it before I picked it up. I think you have done that in the past. But no more.
And then to add an unexpected $70.00 surcharge for using my credit card was the last straw. These are small things perhaps, but I felt ripped off and I won't be back.
Service was thorough and complete. My Honda runs like a new car!
