I was quite disappointed with the recent service my vehicle received at Toyota of Terre Haute. Despite paying for a 27 point vehicle inspection, I discovered a significant oversight. Upon leaving the dealership and stopping for gas, I popped the hood to find that the coolant level was well below the minimum fill line. This oversight not only raises concerns about the quality of the service provided but also begs the question what other parts of my service were done improperly. If one's willing to cut corners on checking coolant, I have little confidence they bothered to change the oil filter.
I was a little disappointed today. It was not a smooth checkout or explanation of service. My report was texted and there was confusion about whether the cabin filter had actually been replaced or not. My bill did not reflect the cost of the cabin filter. So when the text said my vehicle was ready, it was actually not quite ready. And the checkout person had many questions for the other service desk worker. The process of getting and charging me for the part was awkward at best. Maybe th checkout person was new. I noticed tonight while driving home that my parking assist alert for the right side is going off randomly. I may have to follow up if this persists tomorrow. Because my service report indicated my right front brake liner needs replaced, I’m concerned the erroneous alert may be related to inspection work done on a that side.
My only issue was, they put the wrong next oil change service sticker on my window.
Arrived at 9:00 am on time per appointment WiFi quit working didn’t receive diagnosis then got called for approval told them need to wait to save up didn’t here nothing finally asked if car was done @ 2:30 pm was told they were waiting on approval.

Being a loyal customer, my car started making a noise shortly after I had it serviced last time. Probably just coincidence. When I mentioned it at the service desk when checking in, I was basically told they would look at it while doing the normal inspections, but if I wanted anything more, I would have to pay a diagnostic fee. Not surprisingly nothing was found during inspection since I only hear the noise while driving and it varies by speed. They mentioned it could be the electric motor. It seems like a simple test drive by a mechanic for no charge would have been offered. I could take my car to a non Toyota shop for routine maintenance that would cost less, but I chose Toyota because of reputation and I do believe they know their products better than anyone.
We brought our vehicle in for one issue and one issue only. Barb tried several times to talk us into things that we were not interested in. Also my brake light was not on before but can't be 100% sure the mechanics didn't mess with something to go hand in hand with what she was suggesting.
Just all very nice and had my car done in no time????
