Was told that my oil pan plug was “close to being stripped” and if I’d like to purchase a new one. Frank Leta/Van Matre is the only place I take my truck to get the oil changed…..so they are the ones who would’ve been responsible for that. I was told that they “will take care of that” yet on my invoice, I was charged for it. Also, the check engine light was on and when I made the appointment online, that was requested to be addressed….and it was not. Service has gone downhill since Frank Leta took over. Far from impressed and will unfortunately have to start looking for another dealer to service my vehicles.

I originally brought my car in for routine oil change and tire rotation. Informed them of dash message of “service parking brake” and “ “service brake assist”. They thought it was the battery and told me the cost. I did not have the battery changed. I continued to have the messages and additional messages as well as problems with the car moving forward after stoped at stoplights. I’m scheduled another appointment, had the battery changed and now I’m good to go. I did not realize the battery pulled so on all the electronics. I was shocked at the cost of the battery. Did some checking on the cost of the battery as well as if a new battery would solve the problems. I had always received good service from the previous owners of the dealership. You have now won my trust as well. Thank you!
