Trying to upsell and changing quotes for scheduled job without notice
This was the third time the service writer wrote the wrong things, then, when pressed, confessed his "mistake". Each time the mistake would have cost us much more money. No problems with Sid. He's upstanding and honest.
We bought a Ford so it could be serviced in town. It's getting ridiculous that we have to double check the service.
Disappointed.
The transmission shifts excellent now, starts up better and moves easier. The check engine light still hasn't came back on either. Thank you!

Super frustrated that the service didn’t match the previously quoted service from my last visit that I chose to postpone. Either the previous suggested service was completely unnecessary and no record of that service recommendation was kept. I believe it had something to do with the 4wd fluids, but don’t remember - I do remember that the quote was $700ish. The service that was just performed was $300 and says on the invoice that it was at my request …. So either the previous recommended service wasn’t needed or it was overpriced?!? I haven’t noticed any difference in the way the car is handling - I was only finally in a position to pay for the recommended service … but again the price difference suggests I either just paid for half of the previously recommended service and thus still need the other half of the service or received that (prescribed by mileage) service at a significant discount- which I can’t imagine to be true. I still don’t understand what my prepaid service plan covers because everytime I come in I end up with a bill.
The entire team at the service department provided me excellent service. My customer service experience was the best at UNDERRINER FORD located at The Dalles.
