I Purchased my vehicle from Inver Grove Honda in April of 2023. I live in a small town and have only used the vehicle for in town driving. I have put approx. 3,000 miles on the vehicle since I purchased it. I brought my vehicle to your dealership last week for a squeaky brake pedal. I waited 3 hours only to be told the vehicle was fine and the sound was normal. I had been working with a gentleman by the name of Brady, he told me they took another Honda like mine for a test drive and it sounded the same, he made me feel stupid, like I was making it up. I called the next day with an actual recording and video of the noise I was hearing. I was told to bring the
vehicle back up, now remind you, I live 2 hours away, so I had to take another day off of work to bring the vehicle back up. So after your technicians looked at the vehicle again, it went from them not hearing a noise to being told I needed to replace the brake booster. I did not take out an extended warranty on the vehicle because it was so new with very low miles. With only owning the vehicle for such a short time and putting such little miles on it, I feel the dealership should have taken that into consideration. So now I'm being told it's going to cost me $2,500 to get it repaired and I'm basically on my own with it. Brady said he talked to management and was told there was nothing they could do for me. This is not right, I'm kicking myself for not getting the extended warranty but also very disappointed in the dealership. I've had the vehicle for a little over a year, I don't feel I should have to be completely responsible for the cost of the brake booster, I've driven that car so little, as a dealership I feel you should stand behind your vehicles, especially in this circumstance.

The service was good and the Honda employee was very nice and helpful. Mostly I’m bummed because i didn’t get a free car wash due to “the condition of the car”. I would have loved to get a car wash and dont understand why i was made to feel inferior. The car was hit by a Saint Paul public school bus, and my wife and i cant afford to purchase a new vehicle right now. I know it looks a bit of a wreck but still….
Really happy with how quickly IGH was able to get a part and make the repair.
Jason’s also pointed out that my car had a (well hidden) emergency cable release for the fuel door. Now that I know that, if the door lock ever has problems again I’ll be able to deal with an emergency if it arises.
