After taking my car in for an oil change I was advised to do the recommended maintenance of removal of carbon build up in the crankcase and pistons which I did, but following the maintenance my car was having issues that same day. The next day I noticed a noise coming from the engine that was not there prior, and the following day while driving on the freeway I noticed more issues. When I took it back to have them checked what was done to see why all these issues were happening right after doing maintenance, they were charging $250 to "diagnose" the car. I don't think it's fair that I was being told I had to pay for them to recheck what THEY did to the car when it was clear to me that all of these issues happen right after the maintenance. I was very upset because I know it had something to do with the service. My car was perfectly fine prior to me taking it in. I have always kept up with the preventative maintenance so that I don't have issues like what I am experiencing, and something that seemed to be a minor maintenance turn into a nightmare. I am still having issues with the car but don't not feel comfortable taking it back after the service I received when I took the car back. I pay a premium amount for quality service and this time around I did not receive that. It's very disappointing because I have been taking my car here for service for many years.
I would love to do a survey. I was very satisfied with the experience.
Nearly everything was excellent. Trent was responsive and informative, with my vehicle ready when promised. But, someone left the windows down 1” so I heard a terrifying screeching sound as I got on the freeway. Not good for me. Nice car wash, though.
