After waiting 2 hrs and 15 minutes, I decided to ask for a status on my car. Sure enough, the car was ready sitting in lot. No one bothered to inform me that my 2022 Avalon was done.

Alex Saunders is very personable and professional . I would like to have him as a service advisor every time. I have had bad experiences with Pedersen Toyota for years with employees who were strictly business and acted like they were doing me a favor. Alex should train the rest of your staff.

It did not appear to be organized. I had a 9 o’clock appointment quoted for 1.5 hours worth of work took three hours. No communication multiple people in the waiting room had the same concerns.
When I went out into the bay to check on the times, office manager sitting in his office, three other members on the floor, talking with each other and laughing and watching two people work.
This location has always shown professionalism and quality and care. Maybe today was a bad day, but I hope it gets better.
Everything went smooth although initially when asking what oil they would be using the advisor said a different recommended oil than what the vehicle takes and didn’t seem to believe me on when I told him the correct oil. But after they checked to make sure, he made sure to resolve the issue and put it in the notes as to insure they would use the right one.

Today was not a good day at Pedersen, due supposedly to install and startup of new computer system. Have never waited so long at this dealership to get little done with delayed feedback. Now I have to return to complete recommendations which came as a very delayed surprise. Not all Bill Fischer's problem.
I dropped my car off at 945 for an oil change and it was not done until 2 pm. When I checked in after three hours of waiting no one knew why it wasn’t done and informed me they hadn’t even started. I texted and called multiple times for an update and Uber ride back to the dealership and never heard back. I eventually had to leave to relieve my baby sitter. Good thing I didn’t bring my 4 month old because I didn’t realize an oil change is an all day kk g kind of service.. finally they brought my car to me at the end of the day after I asked multiple times.
Nearly 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation isn’t good.

Bill is my favorite service manager to work with. He always explains things so I can understand.
Three hours from arrival to departure for a 10,000 mile serve when told it would be one hour to 90 minutes is unacceptable. We brought our other vehicle in for exactly the same service recently and were out in an hour or less. Some communication on status would have helped.
Everything fine and ready earlier than advised.
