Christopher went beyond expectations, and frankly, was placed in the awkward position of having to work around/make up for a significant shortcoming of Honda Corp. - that being the existence of a system to accurately identify parts from older/legacy car models (in this case, parts for an Acura Integra GS-R 1997).

I wish SF Honda could have diagnosed the transmission problem correctly. Chris said that they do not check for that in a diagnosis. Tyrone said on Mon., Nov. 23, 2020 that they won’t know if the repairs will fix the problem until they do what was recommended. The next day Tyrone said the repairs should fix my problem. I was stuck in traffic again a few blocks from the garage and had to get another tow back. If SF Honda could have told me that I needed a new transmission initially, I would not have asked for any of the repairs. As a result I paid $1,504.12 that I will not get the benefit. Maybe there could be a change in your approach to look for a possible transmission problem to avoid another situation like this again.
