We called 3 weeks ago to secure an appointment today. It was made for 11:30. My husband left work early so he could bring the car in and then he is told it won’t be ready to be seen for 2.5 hours. Pretty unprofessional and shameful to not be considerate of a customer’s time. The least you could have done was call or email us to tell us that our appointment time is going to have to be moved. Such a terrible way to run a business.
Is Big Island Motors able to handle my claim with State Farm Insurance regarding forms & pictures?
The service team was above n beyond as I was late for my appointment they made adjustments and made sure transportation was available to assist me

1 year check up, all good, only 5,000 miles, should be good. I did ask about upgrading headlights to LED, but was told it would void my warranty , not good, so left it. I do hope you put LED’s in new models!

Work wasn’t done as quoted; as a result I have to bring it back…..in a month. Duration of the whole process took more than two months.

It took 3.5 hours for a diagnostic to be done on my Tucson, just to determine that a new drivers side door panel electrical control unit needed to be ordered, months after the mechanic had installed a new panel (same drivers side door handle panel) was installed and retired to me not functioning.
There is a need for more mechanics, and customer service representatives who can assess what needs done at the time the issue is brought to their attention, while standing in front of them.
Also, many calls and messages left to the service department have not been answered or responded to.
The mechanic left the interior covered in transmission oil. Took way to long to do the service I was quoted 1 hour and I ended up waiting 5 hours. I would not reccomend.
Your new service manager Kala is great — knowledgeable, pleasant, smart, reasonable. Definitely an asset as an interface with the public – a keeper!

Friendly and efficient. Not happy with having to pay for a system that was replaced 2 years ago but that isn’t the fault of Big Island Motors. Service personnel were excellent.
