Anthony Andersen at Audi Monterey was very rude to me while dealing with a warranty issue. He made me feel attacked that I was doing something wrong and outside of norms. I am 9 months pregnant and felt he showed zero compassion for the issue I was having. Not impressed with him or Audi Monterey

I took my car In to get looked at due to an issue with the coolant system they had fixed prior . I wasn’t offered a loaner car, they finished an entire tank of gas and didn’t replenish it, they didn’t vacuum the interior and left an empty Audi coolant gallon in the back seat of my car.

I was utterly displeased with the customer service I experienced at this dealership. This was my first visit to the location as I recently relocated from another state. I can recall at the dealership in San Antonio, TX that I would pull up and be greeted immediately. My mileage would be checked, I would be escorted to my advisor, and then offered snacks or beverages as I waited for service. Although, I understand this is a different dealership and obviously a different owner, I was disappointed when I pulled up and sat in my vehicle for 6 mins before anyone approached me and asked to assist. I immediately knew I was NOT going to receive the top-notch service I’ve had at other Audi locations in various states. When I entered into the office, no one was present and when the advisor finally approached the desk he greeted me with “What’s up” in an unprofessional casual tone as if we were acquaintances. He then advised that he was not my advisor and I needed to wait at the other desk for Tony. However, he didn’t bother to try looking or calling for Tony so I stood at the desk another 8 mins waiting. Meanwhile, there are two guys standing near the desk chatting about their previous evening that never bothered to even say hello or to ask if they could assist me. Tony then arrived completely oblivious that he had a client waiting and was genuinely apologetic. I brought my vehicle in because I needed an oil change and diagnostic due to a clicking sound near the front tire. I was told that I would have an approx $500 diagnostic fee that I would be responsible for even if the mechanic was unable to find or fix the problem. I am aware of diagnostic fees but $500 is outlandish. Additionally, I was charged an extra amount for “shop fees” for the “equipment” used to change my oil. Insane! All-in-all I will never return to this dealership. Other than the guy Tony who was professional and as helpful as he could be, this place is a joke. The customer service I received was definitely sub-par and did not present as a luxury brand. The owner is money hungry and the staff needs training in customer service.
